Ben Ramsdale appointed as VP, Commercial & Legal.

As the latest step in our growth and transformation, Connect has created a new Commercial department to focus more specifically on all commercial aspects of Connect’s business including vendor management, supplier relationships and other key commercial matters.

The department will be led by Ben Ramsdale, who has been appointed as Vice President of Commercial and Legal. Prior to this appointment, Ben was Connect’s General Counsel and Company Secretary and this expanded role reflects the clear overlap between the objectives of the legal and compliance functions with commercial and vendor management responsibilities.

Ben joined Connect in 2017 as Contracts Manager following a law degree at the Open University and a master’s degree at University College London. Since that time, he has grown his remit by taking ownership of all of Connect’s legal and compliance matters and has been closely involved in many of Connect’s key deals, ensuring compliance with an ever-more complex regulatory environment. He was appointed General Counsel in July 2021.
